We are proud to announce that Piping Technology & Products, Inc. has recently acquired U.S. Bellows, Inc. from Ketema Process Equipment in California. U.S. Bellows, Inc. has been servicing the industry since the 1960s and has a long history as a reliable expansion joint manufacturer. U.S. Bellows, Inc. will now operate as a division of Piping Technology & Products from our facility in Houston, Texas and will continue to offer the same expertise in expansion joint design, product ion, and customer service that has always been our trademark.

We acquired the R.M. Engineered Products metal expansion joint business in 1995 and relocated that equipment to our 15 acre manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas. The R.M. Engineered Products equipment and the newly acquired U.S. Bellows operating machinery combine to make U.S. Bellows and Piping Technology & Products among the most capable expansion joint/metallic bellows manufacturers in the world.

Piping Technology & Products and U.S. Bellows offer advanced engineering capabilities, with several experienced expansion joint engineers on staff. Expansion joints can be designed in accordance with standards set forth by the Expansion Joint Manufacturer’s Association (EJMA) or those set forth by the ASME. Furthermore, we have the latest computer software for finite element analysis and we do extensive testing to verify the designs developed by our engineering staff.

Piping Technology & Products, Inc. and Sweco Fab, Inc., our A.S.M.E. code certified subsidiary, have supplied a variety of expansion joints to end-users and E&C contractors for several years. Now that we have expanded our fabrication capabilities with the acquisition of U.S. Bellows, our objective is to become a major supplier of bellows and expansion joint products.
